LUCERNE, Switzerland, May 2, 2026 — The Knights of Rizal Switzerland held an Investiture, Elevation, and Awards Ceremony at the Schweizerh of Luzern, bringing together diplomats, members, and guests to honor the legacy of Philippine national hero José Rizal.

The ceremony was led by Supreme Council Supreme Archivist Sir Alexander A. Onia, alongside Switzerland Area Commander Sir Stephan Urs Breu and Luzern Chapter Commander Sir Yenz Salangsang.

The program featured the induction of new Knights and recognition of members for their contributions. The Ladies of Rizal Switzerland conducted their oath-taking ceremony, alongside the revival of the Medal of Honor from the organization’s headquarters.

In a message delivered on behalf of Supreme Commander Sir Emmanuel Calairo, the Order reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Rizalian ideals globally.

The event also showcased humanitarian initiatives in the Philippines focused on education, civic engagement, and community development.
