Rapper Bhad Bhabie received an update in her ongoing cancer battle.

“Bad news from my doctor yesterday,” Bhad Bhabie, 22, wrote via X on Saturday, February 28. “God has the last say so, not my cancer.”

Bhad Bhabie, who did not elaborate further or offer additional updates, announced her diagnosis in November 2024.

“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” Bhad Bhabie, real name Danielle Bregoli, wrote via her Instagram Stories after receiving criticism about her thin frame. “I’m slowly gaining back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives ?.”

Bhad Bhabie, who has not further detailed her diagnosis or experience treating an undisclosed form of cancer, rose to fame in 2016 when she appeared on a Dr. Phil segment called “I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime.”

“Catch me outside, that’s what I always do and they never catch me,” Bhad Bhabie said, pronouncing “catch” like “cash” when she explained her allegedly wild behavior. “‘Ain’t nobody gonna catch me.”

Bhad Bhabie later added, “Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat,” which insinuated that she was looking for a physical fight.

Following the now-viral appearance, Bhad Bhabie was nicknamed the “Cash Me Outside Girl” before launching her rap career.

“I’ve always loved music. When I first started, I didn’t really have the confidence and didn’t think I could actually do it,” Bhad Bhabie told Basic Magazine in October 2023. “I was working with a lot of cowriters, but now, I do most of the writing by myself. I’ve definitely evolved. I’ve always loved music and rapping, so making it a profession came naturally to me.”

She added at the time, “I feel like a lot of my older music was kind of childish, but I was young —14 and 15 years old. I’m 18 years old now and I’m definitely going to show that I’m more mature when it comes to both my content and its delivery. … I’ve made a lot of my own music before, but it was mostly about what the label wanted. When you’re signed, they’re just thinking of hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn’t have a lot of choices or a strong voice. But I’m older now. I understand the game now.”

As for her personal life, Bhad Bhabie became a mother in March 2024 when she gave birth to daughter Kali Love.

“The name doesn’t really have any specific meaning, it’s just his mom picked the middle name and then I had a list of five names I liked, and Kali was one of them,” Bhad Bhabie told People at the time of choosing her child’s moniker. “I thought that Love went good with Kali.”

The internet personality shares Kali with Le Vaughn, whom she’s been dating on and off since 2020.

“Leave my man alone, my bad,” Bhad Bhabie wrote via her Instagram Stories in November 2024, clapping back at haters’ criticism of their relationship.
