Energy, color, and positivity filled the streets of Taytay as more than 7,000 runners joined the highly anticipated SMILE FOR A MILE: Color Fun Run 2026, led by the Taytay Youth Development Office.

At the sound of “3… 2… 1… RUN!”, participants of all ages burst from the starting line, ready to take part in a celebration that went beyond fitness. The event transformed the route into a vibrant display of colors, laughter, and shared joy, creating an atmosphere that truly reflected unity and community spirit.

From the first stride to the final step at the finish line, runners were showered in colorful powder, smiles, and good vibes. Each kilometer symbolized positivity, friendship, and the collective energy of Taytayeños coming together for a meaningful cause.

Families, friends, coworkers, couples, and community groups all showed up in full force, making the event not just a fun run, but a gathering of people connected by enthusiasm and camaraderie. The Color Fun Run highlighted the importance of health, active lifestyles, and strong community engagement—especially among the youth.

Organized as part of the vibrant HaMaKa Festival 2026, the event served as a powerful reminder that when a community runs together, it moves forward together.

The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Allan De Leon for his unwavering support and leadership in making this event possible. His continued commitment to youth development, health initiatives, and community-building efforts plays a vital role in bringing meaningful programs like SMILE FOR A MILE to life.

The Local Government of Taytay also thanks all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and partners who contributed to the success of the event. With overwhelming support from the community, SMILE FOR A MILE 2026 once again proved that Taytay truly embodies “Serbisyong May Ngiti” — service with a smile.

As the HaMaKa Festival continues, Taytayeños can look forward to more colorful, exciting, and meaningful celebrations in the days ahead.
