Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Spotted After She Opens Up About Dating Life

Sydney Sweeney was glowing as she stepped out with Scooter Braun in the Big Apple.

Sweeney, 28, held hands with Braun, 44, as they strolled in New York City in photos captured on Tuesday, November 4. The Christy actress wore blue jeans and a leather jacket with fur accents for the outing. She carried a brown leather purse and brown boots and completed the look with sleek sunglasses. Braun also wore blue jeans, pairing them with a black jacket, white T-shirt, loafers and a baseball cap.

The Euphoria star’s latest outing with Braun came after she was seen with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino in photos published by the Daily Mail on Sunday, November 2. They appeared to have chatted in a car before she exited the vehicle and strolled on the sidewalk. (Us confirmed in March that Sweeney and Davino, 42, had called off their engagement after seven years together.)

Sweeney got candid about her love life in an interview with GQ published on Tuesday. (The interview was recorded in September.)

“What I’ve learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends and I am strong and independent and that I’m going to be OK,” she told the outlet. “If love finds me, love finds me. I’m a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me, but I’m not the type of person that wants to go out all the time. And I do believe in true love and wanting to be with someone for the rest of my life. So I’m not going to … you won’t see me jumping around a lot of places.”

Sweeney also opened up about the headlines surrounding her split from Davino and whether her sense of fame changed this year.

“No. I surround myself with a really, really strong group of people who have been in my life since I was little,” she explained. “And they take me out of Hollywood, take me out of this bubble and remind me what the real world is and that that’s where I exist. And so the aspect and the idea of fame, it doesn’t apply to my personal life. I’m just Syd, and I don’t run in that world.”

A source first told Us in September that Sweeney was “not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter” following multiple public outings. The following month, a separate insider said that Sweeney and Braun’s relationship had “become more serious.”

“Neither of them expected it to turn into something serious at first and are surprised by how genuine the connection has become,” the second insider told Us at the time.

The second source also pointed out that Sweeney’s had a “busy” press tour for Christy and filming season 3 of Euphoria, but she and Braun had been “making time” to see each other in between her projects.

“Scooter is extremely supportive and that is one of the reasons why she is so drawn to him,” the insider added. “He’s deeply interested in her career and life, and [he] often offers valuable perspective and guidance that she really appreciates.”
