Benny Blanco has finally plucked his unibrow, and people have a lot of feelings about it.
Blanco, 37, showed off his new look in a video shared on TikTok on Saturday, March 22. “Hey guys, here’s the before,” he said before zooming in closely on his forehead. His fiancee, Selena Gomez, can be heard in the background imploring him to “do it lightly.”
An esthetician then started tweezing the hairs between Blanco’s eyebrows before using a razor to shave some of the hair away as well, something Blanco didn’t seem to like. “Owwww, are we almost done?” he asked.
Despite Blanco’s assertion that he “couldn’t even tell the difference” by the time the trim was over, his fans definitely could, with many crediting Gomez, 32, for Blanco making the change.

The pair got engaged in December 2024, though Blanco said on a Thursday, March 20, appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Gomez almost didn’t show up to her own engagement.
“We had to do a lot of promo for the album,” Gomez explained. “So I woke up, and I was very confused on what was happening, on where we were going, because it seemed kind of far. So, I’m kind of a little grumpy. I’m, like, tired… I said, ‘After this shoot, I’m going to go hang out with my friends.’ And he starts, I guess, going, ‘Okay, sure. We’ll see when you get here.’”

“She almost didn’t even come. She was like, ‘I really don’t feel that well. I think I’m just going to stay home today. Can’t we just make up the shoot another day?’” Blanco recalled. “And I was like, ‘Uhh…’ I’m trying to figure out a way to do…”
He also admitted the vibe between the two was off in the days leading up to the proposal.
“First of all, getting engaged to someone is the craziest thing in the world,” Blanco said. “It’s like, right before you’re going to tell someone you’re going to be married to them forever. They’re like, ‘Show me how good you can lie to me.’ It’s the hardest… She was just upset with me because the day before, I was making bad lies.”

The pair shared the news on December 11. “Forever begins now,” Gomez captioned an Instagram post shared that day containing an image that showed off her engagement ring.
For his part, Blanco celebrated the relationship milestone by writing in the comments section, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
