New York City hosted The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), NYCxDesign and other design events last week, featuring an array of compelling lighting.

The second annual Afternoon Light show took place during NYCxDesign and included sustainable fixtures from Stickbulb, handcrafted lamps from Streicher Goods, modular lamps from Stone and Sawyer and made-to-order fixtures from New Orleans-based Sara Schoenberger. You can check out those and other designs in this slideshow.

Juniper, the Connecticut-based lighting technology company, returned to ICFF with the Juniper Recharge Lounge, the new under-mount addition to the Ground Control system. It also hosted talks and programming on current topics in lighting, architecture and interior design.

Ground Control offers in-wall and plug-in power access for hospitality and commercial environments. The new under-mount addition to the system brings Juniper’s design sensibility and finishes to under-surface applications. Finishes, which are made at Juniper’s Connecticut facility, are available in matte white, matte black, satin brass, satin nickel, black oxide, and English bronze, with custom digital color-matching options available.
