BETHESDA, Md — The concept of recreating a memorable hotel experience at home has gotten a little closer to reality as has expanded its online Design Shop beyond bedding and bath into furniture and décor inspired by its hotels.

The inaugural hotel collections are anchored by looks from W Hotels and Westin Hotels & Resorts, with additional destination-themed and brand-led collections coming later this year.

“Hospitality doesn’t end at checkout anymore,” said , executive vice president and chief customer officer for Marriott International. “ reflects how we’re expanding the role of hotels and destinations from places you stay to sources of inspiration you choose to live with.”

The W Hotel Living collection is inspired by the brand’s global flagship, the W New York-Union Square, which was created in collaboration with the architecture and design studio Rockwell Group. Included in the collection are a custom headboard and platform bed in four colors, an upholstered bench, dual-finish nightstands and a floral rug. These pieces are complemented by lighting, art and decorative accents, including vases, trays and bookends.

The Westin Hotels & Resorts Living group offers neutral palettes and natural materials. Key pieces include an upholstered headboard, wood nightstands, several rugs, textured and patterned throw pillows and accents such as trays and vases.

Coming in June will be a collection of entertaining and everyday-living items inspired by the French Rivera, including trays, platters, linens, vases and wine glasses. Fall will bring the launch of the JW Marriott Living collection, which takes its inspiration from the JW Marriott in Tokyo.
