NEW YORK — Meridian Furniture‘s made a guest appearance on HGTV‘s Takeover, marking the first national broadcast for the brand.

Meridian representatives said that the placement on the show ”reflects Meridian’s growing presence and continued momentum as a stylish and trend-forward” furniture company.

“This has been a wildly popular sofa and collection for us. is definitely having a moment and seeing it selected as part of a popular show validates our ongoing efforts to put forth furniture designed to speak to a wide range of audiences,” said Michael Rosilio. “Customers who shop our pieces are looking for furniture that fits perfectly into any number of settings but also has that head-turning aspect to it. The Velvet Emery Sofa has certainly become one of those pieces and we expect that to continue this summer.”

The Velvet Emery Collection includes the 95-inch-wide sofa, along with a 77-inch-wide loveseat with the same soft, rounded curves and plush velvet upholstery, and an accent chair. The collection is available in ten color options and is part of Meridian’s expanded offerings across almost every home category.

“The role accessible, design-forward furniture plays in transforming recognizable spaces can be an absolute game changer and we’re energized to see our products represented in projects like this one. It also reinforces the value of strong retail partnerships that expand the visibility of Meridian products across relevant home and design audiences,” said Rosilio.

Complementing the Velvet Emery collection are four Emery Marble Top and Steel Base tables. Two 48-inch dining room tables come in brushed gold or brushed silver finish, while the coffee table and end table are available in brushed gold. All feature a genuine white marble top with a brushed stainless-steel base.
