Rihanna Shares Candid Comment About Her Body After Welcoming Kids
Rihanna is safe after a shooting at her Los Angeles home.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested after March 8 after firing multiple shots from inside her vehicle toward Rihanna’s house in Beverly Hills around 1 p.m., law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ and the Los Angeles Times. During the shooting, one of at least 10 rounds penetrated a wall of her house, a law enforcement source told The Times.
The “Diamonds” singer was home at the time of the incident, the sources told both outlets.
However, police sergeant Jonathan de Vera confirmed to The Times that no injuries were reported.
Rihanna—who shares kids RZA, 3, Riot Rose, 2, and 5-month-old Rocki Irish Mayers with A$AP Rocky—has yet to speak publicly on the attack.
E! News has reached out to Rihanna’s rep and the LAPD for comment but hasn’t heard back.
It’s not the first time the Grammy winner has faced a scary experience at her home. Back in 2018, a 27-year-old man broke into her house in the Hollywood Hills by hopping a fence, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. With Rihanna not home at the time, the perpetrator—identified by the D.A. as Eduardo Leon—spent 12 hours inside before he was discovered by an assistant. The 27-year-old pleaded no contest to stalking. He was ordered to stay away from Rihanna for 10 years.
In the years since, motherhood has given Rihanna a new perspective on the importance safety. In fact, before welcoming her firstborn, she confessed she would “not play” when it comes to her kids, saying she would take a page from Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.
“She will flatten you about those kids,” the beauty mogul told Teen Vogue in 2022. “And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be.”

In addition to her parenting responsibilities, Rihanna has been spending time at work both on her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand and seemingly on new music, as she revealed she was back in the recording studio in a video shared on Instagram Feb. 26.
“I have to go to the studio after this,” the 38-year-old told her team in the clip. “And I have to make a Mardi Gras costume for my son after the studio.”
She was indeed seen in the footage working on a sound board around 2 a.m., jotting down notes in a notebook and then dancing in the studio at 4 a.m.
