On Tilly Ramsay’s new Prime Video cooking show Dish It Out, she dives into everything from viral food trends to family favorites—bringing fun, positive energy, and celebrity guests to every episode. But despite having famous chef Gordon Ramsay as her dad and starring in her own series, Tilly is just like you.
Her three kitchen must-haves include essentials everyone should own. She told E! she’s got to have sharp knives, non-stick frying pans, and a meat thermometer in her arsenal. She’s also “obsessed” with a kitchen gadget we all know and love.
“I am obsessed with my air fryer,” she said. “Not only does it act as an extra mini oven when I have lots to cook (such as when doing a Sunday roast!), but it is also the best at crisping up dishes such as roast potatoes. I have even started using the dehydrate mode to make homemade beef jerky! It really is the gadget that does everything for me.”

Growing up around culinary genius, Tilly is no stranger to incredible kitchen hacks. She shared one with E!.
“Instead of chopping up garlic I like to grate it over a microplane! For me this is a great way to mince it quickly and easily,” she said.

“If you don’t want your fingers to smell of garlic, you can also use a fork to hold the clove as you grate it,” she advised. This microplane has a 4.8-star rating and can also be used to grate cheese.
The 23-year-old divulged that she thinks everyone should own a good quality knife and knife sharpener, especially new cooks or people moving into their own place for the first time.
“I really believe that knives can last forever, especially if they are looked after and sharpened frequently. A sharp knife also leads to safer cooking. I was beyond excited to receive my first set of Hexclad knives and I swear by them!” she said.

But even with some minor kitchen fails, Tilly can always lean on her father Gordon Ramsay’s cooking advice. “Very early on, dad told me to never give up and learn from your mistakes in the kitchen,” she shared.
“Recently, I have understood why this is so important because as I have been trying new recipes and getting more into baking bread and desserts, I have had to overcome different challenges and different recipe fails! Persisting and not giving up actually helps you understand your mistakes better as well.”

Tilly told us that she loves cooking with her father. “Dad and I really enjoy cooking anything together,” she explained. “Obviously, we both boss each other around and have a tendency to forget about the washing up. But most recently, we made a delicious Sunday roast for the whole family and luckily there were two roast chickens, so we had one each to carve — so we both had our own glory moment.”
When she’s not carving up roast chicken with dad, Tilly told E! she likes to make recipes from one particular cookbook. “I have all the Mob Kitchen books and I love them! There is a recipe for every occasion and I find that they are super clear, delicious, and never disappoint,” she said.

“This past month has been a busy one, so I have especially been using Mob One as when I am in a rush, one-pot meals are ideal! The Nduja Chicken with Creamy Rigatoni recipe is incredible,” she said.
