The Rotary Club of Metro East Taytay proudly celebrated a significant milestone with its 21st Induction and 20th Handover Ceremony, a gathering that honored the legacy of service, recognized leadership excellence, and set the course for a new year of impact.
The evening highlighted the remarkable term of Irresistible President Vicente Ramos, whose visionary leadership during Rotary Year 2024–2025 paved the way for meaningful projects that uplifted communities and strengthened the spirit of fellowship among members. His commitment to Rotary’s mission of service has left an enduring mark on the club, inspiring both current and future Rotarians.
In a symbolic passing of the gavel, leadership was entrusted to Good President Donato Santiago, who now takes the helm for the Unite for Good year of Rotary. With renewed vigor, President Santiago called on members to stand united in purpose and passion, ensuring that the club’s programs continue to empower individuals, foster positive change, and embody Rotary’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self.”
“This ceremony is more than a transition of leadership—it is a reaffirmation of our vision and our shared responsibility to serve,” President Santiago said. “Together, we will continue to create lasting impact, strengthen communities, and inspire others to join the call for service and fellowship.”
The event served not only as a leadership handover but also as a bold declaration of the club’s unwavering mission: to harness the power of unity, service, and compassion in building a better future for Taytay and beyond.
