SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The United Lowrider Coalition has partnered with students at Learn4Life Innovation High School to launch the Lowrider Leadership Bike Club, a 10-week course on lowriding culture.

The program aims to introduce students to the history and culture of lowriding as a positive art form and tradition. It will feature speakers, including professional welders, to inspire students and provide insights into potential career paths.

The course will also emphasize personal development, teaching students that building a bike mirrors building their own body, mind and soul, requiring patience, dedication and care.

An event to kick off the program is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 p.m. to 1 pm. The coalition is seeking vendors and mentors to participate in the program. To inquire, email contact@ecofa.

The Lowrider Leadership Bike Club represents an innovative approach to education, combining cultural appreciation with personal growth and career exploration.
