VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI)– A man was arrested Wednesday after he reportedly rammed his Toyota Tundra into another vehicle in a Starbucks drive-thru before fleeing and crashing into several other vehicles, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, at around 2:05 p.m., at the 1700 block of West Vista Way, the suspect deliberately rammed his Tundra into another vehicle in the Starbucks drive-thru and fled the scene.

He then reportedly crashed into a second vehicle at the intersection of West Vista Way and North Emerald Drive and fled from that scene.

Deputies began to pursue the suspect, who led them on a chase while intentionally crashing into several other vehicles, according to authorities. The vehicle pursuit reportedly ended when the Tundra was disabled near Valencia Drive.

The suspect then left the vehicle and fled on foot before he was apprehended by police on the center median, east of Valencia Drive, according to authorities. Officers reportedly had to use a WRAP restraint to take him into custody safely.

According to the report, the suspect hit five different vehicles during the incident, and numerous victims sustained minor injuries.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital after the incident and was later arrested on multiple felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, according to authorities.
