A vegetation fire was reported near San Diego’s bustling Hotel Circle area on Saturday morning, with a helicopter seen dropping water overhead.

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A vegetation fire was reported near San Diego’s bustling Hotel Circle area on Saturday morning, with a helicopter seen dropping water overhead.

The fire was first reported around 11:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Hotel Circle South, though no further details have been confirmed at this time.

FOX 5/KUSI was at the scene and captured response efforts, which can be viewed in the video at the top of this article. Water can be seen pouring from the sky as a helicopter maneuvers through the sky.

As of current, no evacuation orders are in place and no injuries have been reported.

FOX 5/KUSI is working to gather more information and will provide updates as they come into the newsroom.
