Natalie Portman has never shied away from trying a new look.
While Portman got her start as a child actress, she rose to fame after playing Padmé in the Star Wars franchise. In 2005, she starred in V for Vendetta where she rocked the shaved-head look for the dystopian thriller.
“I was really excited to get to shave my head — it’s something I’d wanted to do for a while and now I had a good excuse,” Portman told reporters at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2006. “It was nice to shed that level of vanity for a girl.”
Since that daring look, Portman has continued to make bold fashion and beauty decisions. For her hair she’s gone blonde, tried avant-garde updos and more. As for style, Portman has consistently stayed on the Best Dressed List as she has attended countless Hollywood functions.
