From distinctive task chairs to sprawling modular systems, the following seating has been released this year by Scandinavian furniture manufacturer Flokk‘s sub-brands.

The HÅG X Recouture Capisco task chair features the original HÅG Capisco task chair’s distinctive cruciform backrest, developed by designer Peter Opsvik and originally released by Flokk-owned ergonomic chair brand HÅG in 1984.

In the this version, created in collaboration with textiles brand Recouture, the rear side of the backrest is upholstered in traditional Norwegian vintage åkle textile, characterised by bright colours and scintillating patterns.

Users can select from various base colour and finish options, while the åkle material itself is vintage, meaning that each is one of a kind and is matched with a complementary block-coloured wool upholstery covering the seat.
