HRVY Launches His Next Chapter with New Single ‘cynical’

The UK pop artist introduces a new sound with his fourth single of 2026, ahead of promotional visits to Singapore and Bangkok

October 2026 – British pop artist HRVY releases his new single “cynical”, marking his fourth release of 2026 and introducing a fresh musical direction as he continues to evolve as an artist.

Written by Chelsea Balan, Joel Gunnarsson, Aron Wyme and HRVY himself, “cynical” explores trust, vulnerability and the challenge of opening up to love after being hurt. The track was produced and mixed by Aron Wyme and mastered by seven-time Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound, whose credits include Taylor Swift, Adele, Harry Styles and Lady Gaga.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, HRVY shares:

“‘cynical’ is about loving someone who’s been hurt before and showing them that not everyone is going to leave. Sometimes, all you need is someone who’s willing to be patient and love you for who you are, scars and all.”

Having signed his first record deal at just 14, HRVY has built an international following through releases including “Personal” and his collaboration with NCT DREAM, “Don’t

Need Your Love.” With over 14 million followers across social media platforms and more than 2 billion global streams, he continues to connect with audiences worldwide.

Now entering a new chapter as an independent artist, HRVY has been working on new music in Stockholm, Sweden, exploring a more mature and personal sound.

Alongside the release, HRVY is set to visit Singapore and Bangkok in early November for promotional activities supporting the new single and connecting with audiences across Southeast Asia. “cynical” is available on all major streaming platforms from October 23, 2026.
