Fans were treated to an unexpected collaboration as OG P-pop group Chicser joined rising boy group 6ENSE onstage at the 11th PPOP Music Awards, bringing together two generations of Filipino performers in a celebration of music and friendship.

But beyond their surprise performance at the Big Dome, an unlikely friendship had already been taking shape behind the scenes.

During rehearsals and recording sessions, Chicser found themselves becoming fans of 6ENSE, praising the younger group’s talent, dedication, professionalism, and respect for their fellow artists.

For 6ENSE, the admiration was mutual.

The rising P-pop act expressed their gratitude to Chicser for embracing the collaboration despite their busy schedules and time away from the spotlight.

Their connection eventually came to life through “Kitang Kita Kita,” an unreleased track written by Wiji that celebrates friendship.

The song was originally created for 6ENSE after RS Francisco approached Wiji with the idea of writing a track about friendship. Little did they know that its message would eventually mirror the bond forming between the two groups.

Following a fresh rendition of 6ENSE’s “Piliin Mo Ako,” Chicser made their surprise entrance, sending excitement through the crowd as the two groups shared the stage.

For Chicser, the performance marked a welcome return to the spotlight. For 6ENSE, it was a chance to perform alongside artists who helped pave the way for today’s generation of P-pop acts.

The night became even sweeter as both groups took home major honors.

6ENSE was named Rising Boy Group of the Year, while Chicser received the PPOP Frontier Award, recognizing their respective contributions to the local music scene.

The special collaboration was also a meaningful moment for RS Francisco and the Luxxe White family, who supported the project and helped bring the two groups together.

More than just an awards-night performance, the collaboration highlighted how P-pop continues to evolve, with established acts and emerging talents inspiring and learning from one another.

And the excitement doesn’t end there!

With “Kitang Kita Kita” set for release soon, fans can look forward to hearing more from this unexpected team-up.

For Chicser and 6ENSE, what began as a musical collaboration has turned into something even more special: a genuine friendship built on respect, shared passion, and love for P-pop.
