Hazel Faith Is Taking Her Music Beyond Borders

From LSS to Eurovision Asia, Singapore stages, and the upcoming PPOP Music Awards, Hazel Faith is entering a bigger chapter.

For Hazel Faith Santos, 2026 has become a year of new stages, new stories, and new possibilities.

Fresh from releasing her sophomore album LSS (Love Song Stories), the Filipino singer-songwriter has been moving between music and musical theatre, bringing her artistry from the Philippines to Singapore while continuing to expand her presence as a songwriter and performer.

And in the span of just a few months, Hazel has found herself at the center of several exciting chapters.

A Song for Eurovision Asia

While Hazel was celebrating LSS, another song she wrote was entering a new international conversation.

Her composition “Good For You,” performed by Ryssi Avila, became one of ten entries in the Philippines’ inaugural selection for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia.

The song is about breaking toxic cycles in a relationship and choosing to love someone better—to recognize unhealthy patterns and become a better version of yourself for the person you love.

The Philippine Selection Night took place on August 30, with ten original songs competing for the opportunity to represent the country at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok.

Although “Good For You” did not finish in the official top three, its inclusion was another significant milestone for Hazel as a songwriter. Her work had entered a new platform designed to bring Filipino music into a wider Asian conversation.

And there was an interesting twist to Hazel’s Eurovision chapter.

She wasn’t even in Manila for the final.

She was in Singapore.

Hazel’s Singapore trip became a chapter of its own.

Before stepping onto the stage as Luna in Muse Arts’ original family musical DREAMS, Hazel also made an appearance at the Not So Little Fair at Suntec Convention Centre, a family-focused event featuring live entertainment and activities for children and families.

There, Hazel performed “Everything Takes Time,” bringing one of her most personal songs to a Singapore audience.

The moment feels particularly meaningful considering the song’s history.

Written years ago, “Everything Takes Time” has become a reflection of Hazel’s own journey—of waiting, growing, making mistakes, and eventually finding herself in places she once could only imagine.

From that song to LSS, and now to Singapore, the title has taken on an almost prophetic quality.

But the biggest Singapore chapter was still to come.

Hazel joined DREAMS at Gateway Theatre, taking on the role of Luna, a curious, imaginative and big-hearted young girl who sees the world through wonder and possibility.

Luna believes deeply in dreams—even when they don’t immediately make sense.

It is a role that feels especially fitting for Hazel, whose own career has been built around following unexpected possibilities.

Earlier this year, she also appeared in Super Star Kingdom in the Philippines, playing Host, a character within the musical’s fantastical universe, alongside Sheki Arzaga, formerly of MNL48, and Sophia of KAIA.

From Super Star Kingdom to DREAMS, Hazel is showing that her artistry extends beyond the recording studio.

She can write the story.

She can sing it.

And now, she can step inside it.

The Next Stage: PPOP Music Awards

Hazel’s 2026 story isn’t slowing down.

On October 18, 2026, she will take the stage at the PPOP Music Awards at the Araneta Coliseum, performing alongside her husband Caleb Santos and his group X8.

X8 consists of Caleb Santos, Kiko Ramos, and Carlo Lazerna, all former members of P-POP group XLR8.

The upcoming performance brings together several parts of Hazel’s current chapter: music, collaboration, performance, and the people who have helped shape her artistic journey.

After an album release, a Eurovision Asia selection, and a series of performances in Singapore, Hazel is heading back to one of the Philippines’ biggest stages.

A Bigger Chapter

Hazel Faith’s story has always been about trusting the process.

But 2026 feels different.

Her songs are reaching new audiences. Her songwriting is entering international spaces. Her album has given listeners a fuller picture of who she is. And musical theatre has opened another door for her as a performer.

From LSS to Eurovision Asia, from performing “Everything Takes Time” in Singapore to becoming Luna in DREAMS, Hazel is proving that there is more than one way for a Filipino artist to cross borders.

And perhaps the best part is that she isn’t leaving her stories behind.

She’s taking them with her.
