For Molly Sims, years in the makeup chair led her to this moment.
The YISE Beauty founder chatted exclusively with E! following the launch of her latest product innovation, the Xtremely Quenched Peptide Instant Glow Moisturizer, which comes on the heels of a slight change for the brand: the name.
“So many people couldn’t pronounce [YSE]: ‘wait, what does it mean?” Molly explains, “We’re not changing who we are, I think we’re just getting clearer about it. We’re a bunch of women getting wiser.”
Knowing her consumers are savvy, means the products also have to (obviously) match that energy. Enter Xtremely Quenched, which Molly says goes beyond your average moisturizer thanks to these key ingredients:
- 4D hyaluronic acid: Delivering intense hydration, penetrating beyond the surface.
- Peptides: They’re all the rage right now, and they’re a critical part of this powerhouse moisturizer. Peptides support the skin’s natural functions for a plumper, firmer glow.
- Skin-identical ceramide: Strengthening the moisture barrier, sealing in hydration and reducing water loss leaves you looking smoother and more radiant.
“A lot of women find their makeup doesn’t stay on by lunch and they think it’s their makeup, but it’s because your skin is not hydrated. There’s nothing to hold to the makeup, there’s slipping, it’s sticky,” but Xtremely Quenched aims to solve that, Molly shares.

This moisturizer gives what Molly describes as a “triple layer glow”: hydration, bounce and a glassy, grippy finish. Ideal for wearing under makeup, just allow it to dry down properly before layering.Ā
Over three years since the brand launched in April 2023, Molly’s favorite job still remains “product development,” which is a key component of achieving what her customers are after: effective skincare that leads to results you can really see.
“I want to help my woman understand: more doesn’t mean more, more doesn’t mean better, it’s just the right actives and being consistent. That’s the magic, that’s the magic of YISE,” she explains.
How to Stack on Glowy Skincare for Summer
Want Molly’s recipe for the ultimate dewy summer skin that seriously glows? In addition to the new Xtremely Quenched, enhance your radiance with these serums:
- Xtreme Glow Dewy Peptide Plumping Serum: “A lot of women complain about being dull, dehydrated and just feeling like they don’t have life in their skin, and that is where Xtreme Glow came from.”
- Morning Cocktail Vitamin C Serum: “This will help make your skin brighter,” Molly explains, thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties can protect against free radical damage.

Need glow and bounce ASAP? This is what your routine is missing! This peptide-packed serum plumps and primes your skin for moisturizers and makeup, with a dewy glow.

Rich in antioxidants, this serum “dries down pretty weightless,” says Molly. It’s made with a gentle blend of brightening, hydrating ingredients to improve texture and tone.
How to Treat Dark Spots & Brighten Tone
Molly has been open in the past about dealing with melasma and hyperpigmentation following her pregnancies, but even if you’re not pregnant, dark spots from being in the sun are a common skin concern around this time of year.
CO2 lasers are a frequently-used treatment to help with hyperpigmentation, but if that’s not necessarily in the budget, you can turn to exfoliating, brightening products that promote a more even-toned complexion. Because without products like Your Favorite Ex or The Problem Solver “to get all that dull, dead skin off,” your nourishing serums and moisturizers “do nothing,” Molly shared.
“Gentle exfoliation every single day will make you more even,” she added, noting that your skin doesn’t need to feel “fiery” or “burning” to know that it’s working, because you’ll see a difference with “consistent” use.
Your Favorite Ex Refillable Exfoliating Pads
These barrier-safe exfoliating pads target dullness, dark spots and uneven skin tone. They’re pre-soaked in a gentle blend of glycolic acid and PHAs, plus nourishing ectoin which protects the skin against environmental stressors.
Molly’s Tip: “Never go from your Ex pads straight to foundation, you will look drier than dry.”
Remember, exfoliating is only one piece of the puzzle! Bring back the “plumpness” by layering on your favorite hydrating, plumping serums after.
The Problem Solver All-Over Correcting Cream
Designed for all-over use anywhere you are dealing with dark spots and discoloration, this correcting cream features tranexamic acid, licorice root extract and niacinamide.
No Makeup, Makeup Summer Essentials
If you don’t feel like layering on heavy foundation or concealer in the summer (we totally get it), there are lighter alternatives from YISE that provide light and luminous coverage, while still allowing your glowy skin to shine through.
Molly explains that sometimes she won’t wear foundation because Skin Glow, expecially over the new Xtremely Quenched Moisturizer of course, is enough.
“It gives me a little bit of coverage, and a little bit of blur,” Molly shares. “This will give you that no makeup, makeup look while you’re still getting SPF coverage.”
And especially when paired with the Wide Awake Eye Cream, you’ll never look back. Molly adds: “as you get older, you get drier, especially around your eye area,” so hydration is necessary.
Skin Glow SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen
This 3-in-1 formula is made with radiance-boosting ingredients, melting into skin with a luminous finish that blurs imperfections.
Wide Awake Brightening & Depuffing Eye Cream
Available in four different shades, this is practically sleep in a bottle. Made with vitamin C and caffeine, it can be worn alone or under makeup for a soft-focus finish that brightens things up just the right amount.
