Gap just brought back a beloved ’90s staple, and no – it’s not clothing! Launching online and in stores from Gap Beauty is a reimagination of its iconic fragrance collection.
Originally launched in November 1994, Gap Fragrance was incredibly popular with the scents Dream, Grass, Heaven and Om dominating our noses through the ’90s. 30 years later, they’re elevated to eau de parfums and back for a new generation, with a new scent Harmony also joining the lineup:
- Editor-approved scent: Gap Dream Eau de Parfum
- Fresh & light scent: Grass Eau de Parfum
- Playful new arrival: Harmony Eau de Parfum
The launch follows the recent Gap x Hailey Bieber relaxed denim collection, which was also ’90s-inspired and incredibly popular.
There are five scents making up the 2026 collection, each made with modern ingredients and techniques, delivering more longevity and depth. Each scent is available in a 10ml size ($20) that’s perfect for travel and a 50ml size ($52) that will look beautiful on your vanity.
Rotating and exploring the full collection is easy with the discovery set ($20), and while each has a unique blend of notes, commerce writer Sofía Viera also recommends layering your favorites: “All of these scents have a fresh and light profile, which makes them perfect for layering. They only have subtle differences between them, so mixing and blending to create a unique fragrance is easy and won’t leave you with a headache!”

“The scents might be too light for people who prefer to be smelled from miles away. But for me, this is perfect. I have a sensitive nose, and I get headaches from any scent that’s too strong or overwhelming. I gravitate towards light, fresh, and clean fragrances—and these Gap scents are exactly that,” Viera said.
