Thai digital superstar Aon Somrutai officially made her highly anticipated first visit to the Philippines, marking another milestone in her career as the newest artist under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records Philippines.

Known for her captivating lifestyle, fashion, luxury, and travel content, Aon has amassed millions of followers across social media and has become one of Thailand’s most recognizable online personalities. Her signature catchphrase, “Thank You, Kateyki!”, has become a viral sensation across Asia, earning her a loyal global fanbase. Accompanied by her husband fondly called “Doctor” on social media, Aon arrived in Manila on July 13 to begin a series of media appearances, collaborations, and exclusive engagements introducing her to Filipino audiences.

Her Philippine journey began with a warm welcome dinner at Lola Ote Restaurant, where members of the press and digital media were invited to meet the Thai sensation. During the intimate gathering, Aon participated in interviews and interacted with members of the media while also meeting some of the country’s top content creators, including M1ss Jade So of Drag Race Philippines Season 2, and popular TikTokers Evan Tan and Andrea So, who welcomed her to the Philippines. She was also presented a balloon bouquet from Babina Balloons, and a banig bag full of goodies, from chichirya and dried mangoes to a pamaypay and a wooden back scratcher, plus fishballs, kwek-kwek, and isaw plushies from Common Room PH & Pop Junk Love.

One of the highlights of her visit was meeting social media personality Small Laude, who filmed a mukbang video with Aon and her husband for her own social media accounts. During the shoot, Small introduced the couple to authentic Filipino cuisine through some of Lola Ote Restaurant’s signature dishes, including their famous sisig and barbecue, giving Aon her first taste of some of the country’s most beloved comfort food.

On July 14, Aon stepped in front of the camera for an exclusive MEGA Magazine photo shoot at Salon de Ning inside The Peninsula Manila. The shoot is for an upcoming feature on the cover of MEGA Magazine. While at the iconic hotel, Aon filmed a playful video of herself riding a seated electric scooter while dressed in a stunning evening gown. The video quickly became a viral sensation, amassing more than 11 million views on Instagram and over 3 million views on TikTok.

Continuing her whirlwind schedule, Aon made a special guest appearance on the popular noontime program It’s Showtime on July 15, where she delighted viewers by joining the fun and dancing to the viral hit “Oooh La La Baby” by the Baby Dolls, earning cheers from both the studio audience and Filipino fans watching nationwide.

Throughout her stay, Aon called Seda Vertis North her home in Manila, while Transportverse provided her official transportation, ensuring seamless travel to her various media appearances, photoshoots, interviews, and engagements across the city. The Thai influencer was glammed up by a local beauty team composed of hairstylists Mark Anthony Rosales and Vannie Claveria, and makeup artists Pam Carreon and Make Up by MIRS.

Aon’s successful first visit to the Philippines marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records Philippines. With the overwhelming support of Filipino fans and the viral success of her Manila content, more collaborations, music releases, brand partnerships, media appearances, and special projects are already in the works. If her debut trip is any indication, it won’t be long before Aon returns to the Philippines!
