Kylie Kelce Details “Absolutely Magical” Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding

Kylie Kelce agrees that the day of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s wedding was a fairy tale.

“It was absolutely magical,” the mom of flower girls Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and 15-month-old Finnley shared on the July 23 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “I’m so happy for them. We love them so, so dearly.”

The July 3 nuptial blowout at Madison Square Garden—also featuring Kylie’s husband Jason Kelce as best man and Taylor’s brother Austin Swift as man of honor—was “intimate and incredible and full of love,” she continued, “both for each other and everybody else’s love for them.”

And the vow swap “was only making it official,” Kylie noted, “because Taylor’s been part of the family now for quite some time.”

Concluding her brief foray into wedding talk, she added, “So, that’s that. Anything else, you can check in with Taylor and Travis about, because any of the details that they want to share, they can share.”

But if you were ready for Taylor’s sister-in-law to spill more insider details, then you haven’t been paying attention.

“It didn’t hit the group chat,” Kylie quipped on a February 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, divulging that she and Jason “found out together, but we knew before they hard-launched with her going to a game.”

Kylie poked fun at the Taylor-is-taking-over-the-NFL headlines, sharing a TikTok in October 2023 of then-4-year-old Wyatt asking her mom who everybody was as they watched a Philadelphia Eagles game—then with Jason still the team’s starting center—on TV.

“Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap,” Kylie captioned the post. “Who knows?”

But Taylor hadn’t yet confirmed the timeline of her and Travis’ courtship, and Kylie didn’t actually meet the Eras Tour headliner until January 2024, when the family gathered in Buffalo for Bills vs. Chiefs—a game more memorable for Jason going shirtless despite the freezing weather.

People were “deeply disturbed” that it took a few months for her and Taylor to finally come to face to face, Kylie said on Call Her Daddy. Which, she explained, “was funny to me, because I kept saying to people, ‘I didn’t meet Travis for close to a year when Jason and I were dating, and she’s busy.'”

So, there were no anti-heroes in this story, Kylie calling her eventual meeting with Taylor “great”—despite Jason ignoring her request to be on his best behavior.

Spoiler alert, despite the “silly” storyline, Taylor only grew closer to Travis’ entire family. And when he popped the question in his backyard on Aug. 10, 2025, moments after they wrapped the taping of Taylor’s epic two-hour appearance on Jason and Travis’ New Heights podcast, the “Love Story” singer’s future in-laws couldn’t have been happier.

“The girls are thrilled, they’re so excited they’re getting another aunt,” Kylie said on Good Morning America in September. “And we could not be more excited for them and what the future holds. We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav.”

Kylie was also happy to pass the torch when it came to Taylor breaking her record for attracting the biggest New Heights audience as a guest, assuring Jason and Travis when she returned to their podcast in December, “I’m always cheering on Taylor and everything that she does.”

And while the way into the Kelce family’s collective heart was through making Travis so darn happy, it didn’t hurt that Taylor also came to the table with Funfetti sourdough.

Kylie included Taylor when she shouted out the “well-known bakers in the family” on a pre-Thanksgiving episode of Not Gonna Lie, singling out her “bangin’ sourdough loaf” and homemade Pop Tarts.

Talking to a father and his daughter, Kylie recalled, “One of them asked me, ‘Will there be photos posted?’ And I said, ‘Well, it just happened. You got to give them some time to bask in it. They’re in the honeymoon time.'”

“He recorded the end of that,” she continued, “and decided to say that I was commenting on the wedding and the honeymoon. No, I was just saying maybe give Tay and Trav some time.”

Taylor being able to count on her sister-in-law’s discretion, check. 

“They’re a pretty small family, so it is a little bit of an adjustment,” Kylie told ABC News in November 2023, hopes already high among Swifties that Taylor had met the 1 in Travis. “But it feels so warm and inviting like I think a big family feels, like it was sort of second nature to hop in there. And it is as fun as you think it is.”
