Dezeen Showroom: Italian tile brand Casalgrande Padana celebrates the natural beauty and charming irregularity of natural stone with its Saxum outdoor tiles.
The Saxum porcelain stoneware tiles come in delicate earthy and sandy shades, with elegant veining scattered across their mineral-like surfaces.
Casalgrande Padana aimed to convey the imperfections left by the passage of time on natural stone with the collection, which has a modern and clean yet grounded character.
The Saxum collection includes options for the outdoors, enabling the creation of seamless indoor-outdoor spaces and providing a reliable option for terraces, patios, verandas, walkways and even swimming pools.
The outdoor tiles have a thickness of 20 millimetres and an anti-slip Grip surface. They are available in a choice of five neutral hues and three sizes.
Saxum outdoor tiles come in square and rectangle formats, both of which can be laid on screed using glue for high load resistance or dry laid on sand, gravel or turf.
