‘When Calls the Heart’ Stars Erin Krakow & Ben Rosenbaum Welcome First Baby 10 Months After Wedding
Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s hearts are calling a new person in their lives.
The When Calls the Heart costars confirmed that they had welcomed a baby girl in April, 10 months after privately tying the knot in June 2025.
“Our daughter has been the greatest gift,” Krakow and Rosenbaum raved in a People interview published June 23, “and we are loving getting to know her better with each passing day.”
“It’s already hard to remember life before she arrived,” they added. “We are loving our roles as parents, and it feels like being parents together has only deepened our partnership.”
The Hallmark stars joked that they are “a bit more tired” these days, with Krakow quipping she’s recently had “a change of heart” after being a “non-coffee drinker” for years.
Krakow, 41, and Rosenbaum, 39, were also amazed at “how immediately and naturally our sense of identity and priorities shifted” after welcoming their daughter.
“First and foremost, now we are parents and the needs of our child are always top of mind,” they explained. “That happened instantaneously in a way no other life experience has affected us before.”
Plus, the pair are thrilled to be surrounded by costars who are in a similar situation. After all, When Calls the Heart stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace welcomed a baby earlier this year, while castmate Chris McNally and his wife Julie Gonzalo are expecting their second child together.

“Getting to surprise each other with the pregnancy news was a peak fun life experience,” Krakow and Rosenbaum recalled. “There were shrieks of excitement that only grew with each announcement. We’ll never forget their shocked faces when we shared that we were also expecting.
The couple added, “We can’t wait for the babies to hang together on set this year!”
