Prince William Reveals He Uses “Disguise” for This Secret Hobby
Kate Middleton is showering Prince William with love.
Indeed, the Princess of Wales shared a never-before-seen snap of her husband alongside their daughter Princess Charlotte for Father’s Day, which also happened to fall on William’s 44th birthday.
“Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World!” Kate captioned the snap on the pair’s official Instagram account June 21. “We love you very much. C, G, C & L.”
In the adorable photo from the annual Trooping the Color event June 13, William—who also shares sons Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 8, with Kate—gave the camera a smile as he wrapped one arm around his little girl.
For the occasion, he wore the Full Ceremonial Guard Order of the Welsh Guards, reflecting his senior military position in the uniform. Meanwhile, the 11-year-old donned a white dress with a matching bow.
But the tributes didn’t stop there. After all, King Charles III also wished his son a happy birthday. As he wrote on Instagram Stories alongside a photo of the pair from 2025, “Happy Birthday to the Prince of Wales.”
Recently, William got an early birthday gift as Kensington Palace announced that his eldest son would be attending Eton College come September.

The prestigious boarding school—which William and his brother Prince Harry attended as teenagers—educates boys 13 to 18 “to enable them to flourish and make a positive impact on others through the course of a healthy, happy and fulfilling life,” according to the school’s official website.
And that’s just one way William’s kids are following in his royal footsteps. After all, the Prince of Wales recently shares insight into how he’s setting an example for his little ones to talk openly about their feelings, even if it means they chat “sometimes too much” about their emotions.
“I get all the details,” he said during a panel discussion for BBC Radio 1’s Life Hacks: Mental Health Special Feb. 18, “which I love, you know, it’s amazing.”

While the dad of three acknowledged that an unhealthy approach to mental health struggles has been passed down intergenerationally, he emphasized how it’s up to parents today to break the cycle.
“You have to talk about your emotions,” William explained. “You can’t just bottle them up and pretend they don’t exist.”
“We’ve got a long way to go in this journey of mental health,” he added, “but it’s really crucial we know where we’ve come from because that is such important growth for all of us to get our heads around where we’re trying to head to.”
