, a brand of WAC Group, has appointed Brandi Gilliard regional sales manager for the smart fan team. Gilliard started her career on the showroom floor in the Florida panhandle and southern Georgia, according to Alex Ostrovsky, executive director sales & product development for WAC Group, and also has experience as a manufacturer’s representative, most recently with T & T Lighting Group in Georgia, and prior to that, she was with Richard Brown & Associates.

Lanae Mackey has been named director of sales at Dumae. Mackey has more than 17 years of wholesale experience across fashion, jewelry and lifestyle, Dumae said. Before joining Dumae, she led sales at Chan Luu.

Mud Pie has appointed Jennifer Glover as chief marketing officer. Glover’s two decades of professional experience include working for consumer brands across e-commerce, omnichannel retail, CRM, digital marketing and customer experience, according to Mud Pie. At Mud Pie, she will oversee brand marketing, digital commerce, customer acquisition and retention, CRM, social commerce, marketplaces, public relations and integrated marketing strategy.

Fredrik Ødegård Nilsen
Fredrik Ødegård Nilsen

has named Fredrik Ødegård Nilsen as the new group CEO for the company. Nilsen replaces Tine Hammernes Leopold who was named CEO in 2023.

Company officials said that the change reflects “different perspectives on how best to execute the company’s strategy going forward.” Nilsen was previously the executive vice president and chief financial officer and has “broad insight into the company’s operations and strategic priorities.”

Mindy Marx
Mindy Marx

is expanding its home accents category and has named Mindy Marx to head product development for the division.

Marx has more than 25 years’ experience creating new collections for retailers and manufacturers such as Anthropologie, Frontgate and La-Z-Boy. She joins Meridian from Creative Co-Op, having most recently served as director of national accounts.

“Mindy’s background in retail and manufacturing will be an enormous benefit to our dealers and our company as we lean further into the home accents category,” said Matt Rosilio, CEO.

Previously, Marx was merchandise manager for Holiday Bright Lights. She also worked with companies including Kirkland’s Home, Sagebrook Home, A&B Home and Imax Worldwide.

has named Patrick Lanier as the vice president of sales for residential case goods. In his new role, Lanier will oversee the residential case goods sales efforts and strategy to grow revenue. He reports to Neill Robinson, executive vice president and general manager of residential case goods.
