Hailee Steinfeld Shares Special Way She and Josh Allen Celebrated Wedding Anniversary With Baby
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s first wedding anniversary was certainly pitch perfect.
The Oscar nominee revealed that she and the Buffalo Bills quarterback had an intimate celebration—which included a dinner date at home with their baby girl.
“We both ‘dressed up’ (I put on a little mascara and a pair of jeans) and sat down for a 5pm dinner at our little dining room table,” Hailee shared in June 3 edition of her Beau Society Substack, “our baby in her bouncy chair in between us.”
The 29-year-old explained the meal held a special significance for the pair, who tied the knot in California in May 2025.
“We had our wedding soup (tortilla), an incredible homemade mushroom pappardelle, and for dessert, a gooey butter cake,” she noted, “our favorite thing to order when we’re out to dinner and find it on the menu.”
But their anniversary wasn’t just about the food, as the couple looked back at their dreamy garden wedding by taking the opportunity to rewatch their wedding video. They also went back through their respective camera rolls to find the first photos they’d ever taken together.
“Josh and I talked about our favorite dates and memories together,” Hailee said, “and just how much life has changed in a year.”
And their life definitely changed when the couple announced in April that they’d welcomed a baby girl.
“We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments,” Hailee wrote on her Substack at the time. “Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”

Josh was also feeling especially thankful for his wife as she took on much of the newborn baby duties while he continued with the NFL season.
“I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife,” the 30-year-old shared during an April 20 press conference, noting how she was “doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates.”
But as Hailee had previously shared, she will always do everything she can to support her husband’s football career, just as he has supported her acting career.
“I’m so proud of him and everything that he does, every single day, let alone during the season,” she told E! News at the 2025 premiere of her film Sinners. “I’m just so grateful to be able to share this with him as well.”
