Pink labyrinth by Lina Ghotmeh at Milan design week

The Dezeen team is on the ground at Milan design week. Here are eight must-see installations from the event, including a pink labyrinth, a two-storey Eames house and multiple inflatables.

Hundreds of installations and events are currently taking place in Milan as the city hosts the world’s most significant design event. This roundup captured by the Dezeen team features eight of the most interesting.

Among the must-see installations is a labyrinth designed by Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh and a full-scale house built from a modular construction kit based on Charles and Ray Eames’ iconic mid-century modern home.

Also included are inflatable installations created for car company Skoda and furniture brand USM, as well as a bright orange space designed by British-Nigerian designer Yinka Ilori for champagne brand Veuve Clicquot.

Dezeen also visited an installation featuring a sweeping floor for luxury brand Louis Vuitton, a pavilion designed by architect Kulapat Yantrasast for Uzbekistan’s debut at the event and an installation created to mark the launch of Aesop’s first lamp.

Follow all our coverage from Milan design week, including the launch of IKEA’s latest inflatable chair, an interview with Kelly Wearstler and Labubu-creator Kasing Lung’s collaboration with USM, here.
