Why Alix Earle Says First Date After Braxton Berrios Split Feels “Wrong”
Braxton Berrios may be back in the game.
Four months after his ex Alix Earle confirmed their breakup, the Houston Texans wide receiver stepped out with model Hollie Ford for a dinner date at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood.
During the April 16 outing, Braxton, 30, sported a beige sweater with a pair of pinstripe black pants. Meanwhile, Hollie, 25, donned an off-white spaghetti-strapped top and blue jeans.
As the pair walked toward the NFL star’s car, he opened the door for Hollie before driving away together.
Braxton has largely remained quiet on his breakup with Alix. However, the Dancing With the Stars alum—who cited long distance as the largest contributor to their split—has shared her experience navigating newly-single life, even confessing in January that the hardest part is “being alone.”
“Obviously, I have friends, family,” she said on TikTok. “I feel like just having that stability of a male partner, or even just someone to talk to or distract me is so weird.”
“I’ve just always had boyfriends,” the Hot Mess podcast host continued. “I was a boyfriend hopper, and I said, ‘This year, I’m gonna be dedicated to being OK with being alone,’ but I don’t know why I can’t do it.”
Indeed, Alix’s goal to remain single has not gone entirely to plan. In addition to sparking romance rumors with Tom Brady earlier this year, the TikToker recently went on her first date since her split from Braxton.

However, the experience was far from romantic, with her mystery date—who Alix said had slid into her DMs—picked her up 30 minutes late and drove her far away from the restaurant where they had made dinner reservations.
“There was a point during this date where I swear to God, I turned green and almost passed out because I seriously thought I was getting kidnapped,” she shared in an April 8 TikTok, detailing how her date’s erratic driving caused her to spill coffee on her white dress. “I’m not doing that again.”
So, what is Alix looking for in her next relationship?
“I wanna date a rock star so bad,” she noted in an April 16 video recapping her Coachella trip, adding, “No more football players.”
