Amsteel Structures Inc., Dantru Development Corp., and the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO) recently held exploratory discussions on a potential solar energy project, reflecting Taytay’s continued commitment to sustainable development and local employment generation.

The discussions were led by Amsteel Structures Inc., represented by Sir Aaron Kaw, Executive Vice President, and Mary Ann Dizon, Senior Administrative Associate, highlighting the company’s interest in leveraging its structural engineering expertise for renewable energy initiatives. Coordination was facilitated by LEDIPO, under the guidance of Mayor Allan De Leon, with Atty. Dustin Regalado, LEDIPO Officer-in-Charge, overseeing the process alongside LEDIPO Focal Person Cristina F. Gonzales and staff members Meme Borja, AC Santos, and Warren Sedan.

Representatives from Dantru Development Corp. also participated, including Floriendelyn L. Sibonga, President, Arsenio R. Robledo Jr., Chief Operating Officer, and Rita A. Sibonga, Chief Financial Officer, together with Mr. Noubikko Ulanday, CEO of RPConnect Corp. Initial discussions focused on the feasibility of a solar energy project and its alignment with Taytay’s development priorities.

Following the meeting, a site visit and ocular inspection were conducted by Floriendelyn L. Sibonga, alongside the project architect and Engr. Jojo, to assess site conditions, technical requirements, and structural considerations for potential solar installation, drawing on Amsteel Structures Inc.’s expertise.

Although still in the discussion stage, the initiative demonstrates a shared commitment among the private sector and the local government to pursue clean energy solutions, create future employment opportunities for Taytayeños, and promote sustainable investments. The strong support of Mayor Allan De Leon and the leadership of Atty. Dustin Regalado through LEDIPO highlight the municipality’s proactive approach to fostering responsible and inclusive development partnerships.
