Taylor Swift References Dropped During Ticketmaster Senate Hearing
These ticket prices are not what fans need.
After Ticketmaster customers were enraged to find that presale tickets for Olivia Dean‘s show next summer appeared to be $753.45 for upper-level seating, the platform shared that it was actually a typo and they were meant to be listed as $53.45.
“Thanks for catching this,” Ticketmaster replied to one fan on X Nov. 19. “This price was a typo. It has been fixed to the reflect the correct $53.45 all in price, and any refunds for the difference have already been issued.”
While many social media users were sharing how outrageous the prices seemed for the 2026 Grammy Best New Artist nominee’s arena tour, the company’s response was to one user who wrote, “$753.00 for balcony tickets at the Boston show for Oliva Dean. This is crazy.”
Olivia’s Boston stop at the TD Garden will be one of 10 cities for her Art of Loving tour next summer. In the “Man I Need” singer’s Nov. 14 post announcing the tour, she wrote, “these are venues i have only dreamt of playing. see you next year lovers!!!”
The 26-year-old, whose sophomore album The Art of Loving was released in September, has spent the fall opening for Sabrina Carpenter on the final leg of her Short n’ Sweet U.S. tour. And as Olivia gets ready for her own international tour, she’s taking what she’s learned on the road and using it to prepare.
“I’m learning that creating a really comfortable space in the room is really important for the songs to breathe in the room, and for people to enjoy them,” she told Vogue Sept. 26. “I’m really enjoying finding that really delicate balance between real sincerity and emotion, and then having a laugh.”

And as for what looks she’s hoping to shine in on tour?
“For me, it’s got to sparkle,” she continued. “Or it’s got to have an interesting shape and influence the way that I move. Or it needs to—just on a base level—make me feel really confident and beautiful and comfortable. I don’t think I perform well if I feel uncomfortable. I need to feel beautiful to be my best self. But yes, I love sparkles.”
