2 men invade apartment in Bay Terraces, hold victims at knifepoint

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two men invaded an apartment unit in San Diego’s Bay Terraces neighborhood early Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, two suspects forced their way into a residential unit at the Meadowbrook Apartments located at 7828 Paradise Valley Road around 4:30 a.m.

Once they were inside, they held the two residents inside at knifepoint and ransacked the apartment. They left with an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen running westbound through the parking lot, police said.

The victims described the suspects as two men, possibly Hispanic, wearing black ski masks and dark clothing. No arrests have been made.

San Diego Police robbery detectives are handling the investigation.
