(FOX 5/KUSI) — Grab your cowboy hat and boots and head on over the 15th annual Western Hoedown in Oceanside this weekend.

This milestone year marks 15 years of bringing the community together for a relaxed, family friendly afternoon of western-themed fun, all in support of the children and programs supported by Ivey Ranch Park.

Guests can look forward to crowd favorites like horse-riding demonstrations, hayrides, music, entertainment, steakhouse BBQ, raffles, a silent auction, a Kids Corral, ROTC Color Guard flag ceremony, and more.

For over 40 years, Ivey Ranch Park Association has provided life-enhancing care, education, and equine-assisted services to individuals with and without disabilities.

Programs include therapeutic horseback riding, before and after-school care, an adult day program, in-home respite care, and more.

With many families waiting years for assistance, proceeds from the Hoedown are critical to eliminating the waitlist and ensuring timely support.
