President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. left Washington D.C. to return to Manila on Tuesday afternoon (US Time).
According to the Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday, Marcos left at 4:42 p.m. of Tuesday (US Time).
Marcos was invited by President Donald Trump for a three-day official visit from July 20 to 22.
He was hosted at the historic Blair House, the US President’s Guest House for select visiting heads of state and top dignitaries.
During his visit, Marcos affirmed that the US is the Philippines’ only treaty partner—a relationship built on history and mutual trust, and one which he said Manila will “continue to foster.” — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
