SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A fire broke out Wednesday in a building in the Midway District.
The incident occurred around 5:32 p.m. on Houston Street, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Drivers on Interstate 8 could see the fire spewing black smoke into the sky.
SDFD said they were able to knock down the fire.
