SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The Wild Horses Festival is a celebration of modern folk, country and Americana.

On Saturday, Dec. 27, the event is returning to San Diego’s Petco Park for its fifth year.

This year’s headliner will be Mumford & Sons, along with Lord Huron, Sierra Ferrell and Lily Meola.

Grammy award-winning band Mumford & Sons, known for famous songs like “I Will Wait” and “Little Lion Man,” released its fifth album Rushmere earlier this year.

Lord Huron has had their song “The Night We Met” go viral on social media, as well as being featured in the popular Netflix show “13 Reasons Why.”

Sierra Ferrell’s mix of roots, folk, and swing has taken her to festival stages worldwide.

Lily Meola, who recently toured with mentor Willie Nelson, fuses modern country and pop.

Artists who have performed at Wild Horses in the past include Post Malone, Zach Bryan, Zach Top, Paul Cauthen, Midland, Ryan Bingham and LeAnn Rimes.

Tickets for the general public will be on sale on Aug. 27 at 1 p.m.
