Former Senator and independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino received a significant boost just days before the elections through an endorsement from the “Unkabogable Star” Vice Ganda. In a video shared on her official Facebook page, Vice Ganda is seen singing “Bam Bam Bida Bam Bam Bida Bam” while appearing to film her lips with a mobile phone. Vice Ganda then passed the phone to various individuals, including OPM icon Ogie Alcasid and singer Darren Espanto, who gamely sang along. After receiving the phone back, Vice Ganda said, “Ibalik sa Senado ang matino at matalino. Bam Aquino. No. 5 sa balota.” Bam, for his part, thanked Vice Ganda for her support and for using her platform for the Filipino people. “Maraming salamat sa unkabogable na suporta, Vice Ganda. Salamat sa patuloy na paggamit ng iyong boses at plataporma para tumindig sa tabi ng mga kababayan natin,” Bam said on Facebook. “Ang pangako natin sa madlang pipol sa pagbabalik natin sa Senado: magsisipag tayo at tututukan ang mga bagay na tunay na mahahalaga sa buhay ng mga Pilipino. Vice Ganda joins a growing roster of celebrities endorsing Bam’s senatorial bid, including Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes, and Iza Calzado. Pascual and Calzado even joined Bam’s Metro Manila motorcade over the weekend.
