Pregnant Rihanna Reveals How Her and A$AP Rocky’s Kids Are Following in Their Musical Footsteps
Rihanna is trading in her cake, cake, cake for another sweet treat this summer.
Indeed, the Anti singer—who’s currently pregnant with her and A$AP Rocky’s third baby—stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a dress that resembled a vibrant scoop of sorbet.
During her August 5 outing, the 37-year-old sported a sleeveless, pastel-colored dress from Issey Miyake’s Spring/Summer 2001 collection. The semi-sheer ensemble has several intricate details, but the cotton candy-inspired neckline truly sells the look. The fluffy design then melts into a sorbet swirl near the bottom, the structure fitted enough to hug her baby bump.
And with the gown being such a statement piece, Rihanna lightly accessorized the look with flower earrings, pink-ish gold jewelry, and lime green Pumas.
This isn’t the first time the Fenty Beauty founder has turned heads in a sheer maxi dress. In fact, Rihanna wore a stunning black balloon dress to the Smurfs premiere in Los Angeles July 13. Her and A$AP’s two sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 23 months, also joined her on the blue carpet, twinning in matching pink and green outfits.
The brothers’ appearance at the premiere is fitting, as Rihanna voices Smurfette in the upcoming film.
“I want them to have fun when they’re watching this,” she told E! News at the time, explaining that she got involved in the movie to create “something that they will go back to emotionally throughout their whole lives.”

And when Riot and RZA aren’t serving looks or bonding over iconic animated characters, they’re following in their parents’ musical footsteps.
“Both of them love music,” the “Needed Me” singer revealed, adding their babies “love instruments.”
She continued, “It’s insane. I don’t know who they get it from more. I’m like, ‘Is that me or is that you, Rocky?’ Riot, he likes to freestyle. So, that’s definitely a Rocky thing.”
