ABS-CBN won four major awards for its outstanding girl group and media personalities at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Cavite’s 2025 Laurus Nobilis Media Excellence Awards. The nation’s girl group, BINI, was honored with the Media Excellence in Musical Performance trophy, while “It’s Showtime’s” Amy Perez received the Media Excellence in Entertainment Show Hosting award. ABS-CBN chief of reporters Jeff Canoy received the Media Excellence in Television News Presentation award, while ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Johnson Manabat took home the Media Excellence in Radio News Anchoring award for his show “Johnson, I-Kuwento Mo!” on Radyo 630. The Laurus Nobilis Media Excellence Awards is the award-giving body of LPU Cavite that honors outstanding media personalities who embody the Lycean ideals and values.
