Ozzy Osbourne’s Family Tearfully Says Goodbye at Public Service Procession
Kelly Osbourne is celebrating her father Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy with a subtle tribute.
The Black Sabbath frontman was honored during a public procession July 30, eight days after he passed away at age 76. At the funeral in Birmingham, England, his daughter wore a pair of round wire-rimmed sunglasses, which were one of her dad’s signature styles throughout his life.
The 40-year-old was joined by fiancé Sid Wilson—they share 2-year-old son Sidney—as she and mom Sharon Osbourne, 72, sister Aimee Osbourne, 41, and brother Jack Osbourne, 39, focused on making Ozzy’s funeral full of joy.
Following her dad’s passing, Kelly shared her own personal tribute to her father using the lyrics to his 1972 song “Changes.”
“I feel unhappy,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories July 24. “I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had.”
Days earlier, the Osbournes alum had addressed speculation that the Prince of Darkness’ health was declining.
“There’s this video going around on social media and it’s supposed to be my dad, but it’s AI,” she said in a clip posted on her Instagram Stories July 11. “It has a voice like my dad’s David Attenborough or something, and it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’”

“Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be,” she admitted, “but he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”
However, as Ozzy’s sister noted, he was struggling.

“It was upsetting because he could not stand up straight, but he was still our John, still cracking the jokes,” Jean Powell, who attended his final Black Sabbath performance July 5, told The Mirror in an interview July 23. “He was frail, but it still came as a shock. He still had plans and things he wanted to do.”
