Manila, Philippines – Vlogger and singer Kevin Montillano is set to release his fourth single under KDR Music House, titled “Darating Ako,” on October 14, 2026.
Known for his engaging presence as a vlogger and content creator, Kevin continues to make his mark in music by transforming personal experiences, observations, and everyday stories into songs that listeners can easily relate to. With his signature dreamy pop alternative sound, he brings a fresh and personal perspective to his growing body of original music.
For Kevin, “Darating Ako” is more than just another song—it is a heartfelt tribute to the real-life superheroes who always show up when they are needed most.
“I’m always a big fan of superheroes!” Kevin shares. “Wala man yung effects ng powers nila tulad sa movies o capes. A superhero can be your best friends, your pet, your mom or dad, brother or sister, yourself, and of course, God.”
That simple yet powerful idea serves as the heart of “Darating Ako,” a Bedroom Pop Alternative track that celebrates the people—and even the beloved companions—who become our source of strength, comfort, and hope.
Unlike the superheroes seen on the big screen, real-life heroes do not need superpowers or elaborate costumes. They simply show up. They are there during difficult moments, celebrate our victories, listen when we need someone, and remind us that we are never truly alone.
“Darating Ako” captures that reassuring promise of being present for someone who matters.
Kevin hopes that listeners will not only enjoy the melody and mood of the song, but also connect with its message and think of the person who has always been there for them.
“If you have someone in your mind who always shows up, please dedicate this song to them,” Kevin says.
With “Darating Ako,” Kevin takes another step forward in his musical journey, proving that sometimes, the most powerful stories are not about fictional superheroes, but about the ordinary people who simply choose to be there.
Kevin Montillano’s “Darating Ako” will be released on October 14, 2026 under KDR Music House. Watch out for the new single and get ready to dedicate it to your very own real-life superhero.
