Megan Moroney Reveals Time Her Underwear Fell Off During Red Carpet Walk
Megan Moroney is still doing OK—even if she’s going commando.
Indeed, the country star detailed the shocking fashion moment, in which she once took off her underwear on the red carpet of an awards show.
When asked by E! News at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Oct. 18 about her most “outrageous” fashion moment, Moroney replied, “I’ll tell you what my brain immediately went to. The ACM Awards a few years ago, I had these like sticky underwear on, and they fell off on the carpet.”
“So then I just took them off and gave them to my publicist,” she added. “So yeah, I didn’t have underwear on carpet.”
And though the “Am I Okay?” singer did not reveal her undergarment situation on the pink carpet at the event, she did shed light on what makes her feel “sexiest.”
As Moroney—who donned a red, chainlink minidress at the VS Fashion Show—simply put it, “When I’m in an outfit like this.”
And her key to confidence? The “I Feel Pretty” artist feels best when she’s being herself.
“I think just embracing who I am, embracing my individuality,” Moroney shared, “we’re all unique.”
Indeed, the 29-year-old showed off that confidence when she performed on the runway at the iconic fashion event, singing three of her songs from her latest album Cloud 9: “6 Months Later,” “Wish I Didn’t” and “Sorry…I Meant Tonight.”
And for her performance, Moroney’s look didn’t feature any Tennessee orange in sight. After all, the “No Caller ID” artist donned a Victoria’s Secret pink babydoll corset and skirt, paired with silver platform sandals, completing the ensemble by wearing fluffy pink wings.
But Moroney taking the legendary stage aligns perfectly with her new era in more ways than one.

In fact, along with Cloud 9—which was released in February—featuring a hot pink cover and aesthetic, it reflects her entering a confidence era in her life.
“It’s still strong and empowering, but there is a softness to a lot of the lyrics,” she shared at a 2025 promotional event, per Music Mayhem Magazine. “And I think that comes with the confidence that I’ve had that’s grown inside me over the past however many months that I’ve made this album. So it’s just me living life.”
