ABS-CBN has released a statement regarding the company’s latest investment plans, emphasizing that it will remain a Lopez-led company as new investments come in to help build the “new ABS-CBN”:

ABS-CBN will remain a Lopez-led company as new investments come in as part of its efforts to build the new ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN stockholders approved on Wednesday (September 30) the next steps for the ₱6-billion investment announced in August.

The new investments are from companies representing three branches of the Lopez family, namely Crème Investment Corporation, Mantes Corporation, and Presta Holding Company, Inc., as well as Lopez, Inc. and new investor I&C Holdings Corporation.

ABS-CBN continues to reach audiences across television, streaming, digital, film, music, live events, and international markets with its shows, movies, news, music, and other Filipino content.
