Every few years, someone declares:
“Fashion doesn’t matter.”
Usually, this statement comes from a person wearing socks that don’t match, a shirt that has survived three decades, and shoes that appear to have completed military service.
I smile.
Because while fashion may not be everything, it certainly isn’t nothing.
