Malta acquits tycoon Yorgen Fenech in investigative journalist murder case thumbnail

A Maltese court on Wednesday acquitted tycoon Yorgen Fenech of orchestrating the 2017 car-bomb killing of investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, a verdict that drew condemnation from her family and press freedom advocates. Her family said the acquittal denied Caruana Galizia justice, while her son called it a “terrible decision.”
