Set within a townhouse at 80 West Washington Place in the heart of Greenwich Village, this year’s show house will open to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 16, for a month-long run.

Beyond its role as a design landmark, the Show House serves as the signature fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. For more than five decades, the event has raised over $33 million in support of the organization’s life-changing educational and enrichment programs for young people throughout New York City.

“We are honored to bring together some of the industry’s most talented designers in support of a mission that extends far beyond these walls,” said Daniel Quintero, executive director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “This event has helped create opportunities for so many young people through the life-changing programs of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, and we are deeply grateful to this year’s participants for helping us continue that legacy.”

For the first time at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York, the organization has partnered with art historian, advisor and curator Gay Gassmann to curate a collection featuring exclusively American artists. The initiative adds a new layer of storytelling throughout the show house while highlighting the depth and diversity of American artistic talent and creation. Gassmann’s selection of curated works is a celebration of American art and artists and also an expression of living with art, color and joy.
