Fran Silvestre Arquitectos has completed a residence in Las Rozas, Madrid, where five intersecting cylindrical volumes establish both the architectural language and the home’s spatial organization. Positioned on a gently sloping site overlooking the Sierra de Guadarrama, the 370-square-meter project uses a clear geometric strategy to separate domestic functions while maintaining a cohesive architectural identity. Each cylinder accommodates a distinct part of the program, creating a composition in which circulation, structure, and living spaces emerge from the same formal system.

Rather than treating the circular forms as isolated objects, the architects connect them through a series of orthogonal junctions that generate fluid transitions between rooms. The arrangement also creates a compact central courtyard that acts as the project’s spatial anchor, bringing daylight deep into the house while establishing visual connections between the different volumes and the surrounding landscape.
