France will hold the first round of its next presidential election on April 18, 2027, with a run-off set for May 2, an executive source said on Tuesday. The vote is widely seen as a pivotal test for Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally as President Emmanuel Macron prepares to leave office after his final term.
