Dua Lipa, Callum Turner’s Italian Wedding Includes A Sweet Nod to Their Meet-Cute
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner‘s sweet wedding tribute is one for the books.
The couple paid homage to the moment they first fell in love at their Italian wedding festivities June 5, following their courthouse nuptials in London earlier that week.
While Dua and Callum made their May 31 legal ceremony an intimate affair—at which the Future Nostalgia singer stunned in Schiaparelli couture while dripping in $500,00 worth of Bulgari diamonds—their extravagant wedding weekend in Palermo, Sicily, featured a library display full of colorful books to call back to the story that brought them together.
“We sat next to each other and realized we were reading the same book, which is crazy,” Callum told the Sunday Times in 2025 of their impromptu meet-cute at dinner in Los Angeles. “I had just finished the first chapter and I told her and she looked at me and said, ‘I just finished the first chapter too.’”
After discovering they were “on the same page” of Hernán Díaz‘s novel, Trust, Dua and Callum began their story as an official couple. After all, their bond over reading couldn’t be more fitting considering Dua started her Service 95 book club in 2022.
And the connection had been a long time coming. As Dua told British Vogue in 2025, “There’s a lot of Sliding Doors moments,” between the pair, like when they were introduced by chef Ruth Rogers at her restaurant in London. So when Dua bumped into Callum that fateful night, she thought, “Oh, it’s that really hot guy from The River Cafe.”

Having cemented that she could be the one for the Eternity actor over two years later, Dua showed out in a leather Bottega Veneta party dress, complete with a train of ostrich feathers, for their outdoor summer wedding reception June 5. Meanwhile, Callum followed up his elegant Ferragamo look from the courthouse with a linen Jacquemus suit and matching sunglasses.
